Welcome to Sluggerz Summer Baseball Camp, a dynamic program tailored to both novice and intermediate players. Participants will be organized into groups based on their skill level, age, and, when applicable, gender. Our primary objective is to provide a positive and secure environment for newcomers to discover the joys of baseball.
For those with prior experience, we are dedicated to helping you refine your skills and deepen your understanding of the game. The program is meticulously crafted and led by Ottawa Gee Gee's varsity baseball players, along with other accomplished baseball specialists. Additionally, we're thrilled to announce that we'll have special guest speakers from the Ottawa Titans Pro Baseball Team joining us once a week to offer coaching and engage in practice drills.
Throughout the day, we'll immerse ourselves in a variety of baseball-related activities, with a strong focus on essential skills such as fielding, catching, hitting, and pitching. But let's not forget that this is, above all, a game, and our summer camp is designed to be incredibly FUN! Within our extensive facility, your child will enjoy a wide range of activities, creating unforgettable summer memories.

Sluggerz March Break Baseball Camp caters to both novice and intermediate players, ensuring they are placed in groups based on their skill level, age, and gender (where applicable). The primary objective of the program is to provide an encouraging and secure environment for newcomers to acquaint themselves with the sport of baseball. Meanwhile, seasoned players will face challenges aimed at refining their skills and enhancing their understanding of the game.
This camp is crafted and led by emerging AA and AAA players from the Ottawa Area, along with varsity baseball players from the Ottawa Gee-Gees and other specialized baseball experts. Additionally, the camp features weekly appearances by special guest speakers from the Ottawa Titans Pro Baseball Team, who will contribute valuable coaching insights and lead various drills.
The daily schedule revolves around baseball-centric activities, with a focus on essential skills such as fielding, catching, hitting, and pitching. Emphasizing the recreational aspect, we ensure that the camp is not only instructive but also enjoyable. Beyond the baseball sessions, a diverse range of activities within the facility promises a memorable and fun-filled summer for your child!

The Sluggerz March Break camp maximizes the state-of-the-art indoor facilities at the Ottawa Mega Dome. This venue boasts a sprawling 100,000 sq/ft field, equipped with Sluggers batting cages featuring new pitching machines and pitching mounds. Our daily planning is comprehensive, with two distinct schedules crafted to accommodate varying weather conditions. One schedule caters to good weather, offering outdoor activities and lessons, while the alternative is designed for wet or excessively hot days, all conducted indoors. Rest assured, unpredictable weather won't lead to boredom among campers. To add variety, we have exclusive access to Maxx Games indoor inflatables, featuring Ottawa's largest inflatable obstacle course, a 55 ft slide, tug-a-touchdown, and weekly sessions of Laser Tag – providing an exciting change of pace!
- Bring your own baseball glove; all other necessary equipment will be supplied.
- Campers have the option to bring their personal batting helmet and/or cleats if desired.
- Participants aged 6 to 12 years old.
- Campers are grouped by age, with two divisions: 7 to 9-year-olds and 10 to 12-year-olds.
- Camp operates daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- Drop-off window: 8:30 am to 9:00 am.
- Pick-up window: 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
- Optional Early/Late care available at $70 for the week.
- Early care: 7:30 am to 8:30 am.
- Late care: 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Rest assured, bad weather won't dampen the spirits of our campers. To keep things exciting, we also have access to Maxx Games' indoor inflatables, including Ottawa's largest inflatable obstacle course, a thrilling 50-foot slide, tug-of-war competitions, and weekly laser tag sessions. Additionally, weather permitting, on Thursdays or Fridays, we embark on an invigorating walk to the Cardel Recreation Center for an hour of swimming, ensuring a well-rounded and enjoyable experience for all our campers.
We want to update you on our schedule, where your child will be participating in baseball activities at the Fringewood Park diamond during specific times of the day. Fringewood Park is conveniently located just a short 10-minute walk away from our site, accessible through community walking paths rather than roads. Be assured that our vigilant counselors will supervise your child's journey to and from the baseball diamond, ensuring their safety throughout.
Moreover, on either Thursdays or Fridays (depending on weather conditions), we have planned a delightful walk to the Cardel Recreation Center. There, the children will have the opportunity to enjoy a swim at the facility.

Camp hours run from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm every day.
Drop-off is scheduled between 8:30 am and 9:00 am.
Pick-up time is from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
Early and late care options are available for an additional fee of $70 for the entire week.
Early care runs from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
Late care is provided from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
